Hike in Hunnebostrand art park
Hunnebostrand, a typical fishing community that comes to mind when you think of Bohuslän. Boats, red boathouses and the salty water. The Lobster Academy has also chosen to locate its headquarters in Hunnebostrand. But, there is more to experience in the vicinity of Hunnebostrand centre.
If you walk along the water to the north, you will soon come to an art park, or the "beach promenade". There, artists have set up their works out in the open. There are both large and smaller works of art, mainly in stone, with good stories surrounding the work of art. This tour is recommended for everyone, as it is easy access and not hilly.
Further out on this stretch you will come to a swimming area, playground and finally to Ullebergshamn. It is about a 15 minute walk. You can then choose to go into the houses and go back to Hunnebostrand by car, or simply turn around to go back.
There are also a couple of trails that take you to the top of the mountain that is there, but it takes a little more leg strength to manage, as there are a lot of stairs. More information about the art park can be found on our destination page for Hunnebostrand.
If you want to view another art park in the vicinity, it is recommended to visit KKV, which is an abbreviation for the Artists' collective workshop. It is a place that engages in the manufacture of stone sculptures and has a large exhibition that is fascinated.
