Eat Streetfood from foodtucks
When you visit Gothenburg, and don't feel like eating in the most touristy places. Then you should go to Street food market at Hisingen. They are open on Saturdays with this concept. The concept means that you buy a number of coupons at the entrance. Then you use these coupons to buy different "taste samples" of different dishes. It is usually enough with 3-4 different dishes. But, if there are many people, you can combine quite a few dishes together. Good drinks are also served, of course.
What is a bit special about this is that the idea started with food trucks that gathered in the same place during the winter, when they could not conduct their business outside the city during the winter months. But, now it is so popular that food is served both from food trucks and regular meals in the premises. But, the spirit remains in the room.
If you are visiting Gothenburg temporarily, a tip is to rent a “steer & adjust bike”. With it, you can cycle to the restaurant in about 30 minutes. A tip is to cycle to the "Stenpiren". From there you take one of the fast ferries that ply the river. Called "river speed".
If you also want to visit a beer brewery, VEGA Bryggeri, you can cycle about 3.5 km further. From there you can then take the new Hisingsbron, which was inaugurated in autumn 2022, back to the mainland.

Vega Brewery
After or before you visit the Streetfood market, you might also want to visit Vega Bryggeri. They are not that far from each other.
It is therefore possible to visit Vega Bryggeri and try all the different types of beer that the company produces. You are sitting almost in the middle of the factory, among large beer cisterns. It's a simple design, but very nice to experience.
