Happy to share my best tips for fun and exciting trips to amusement parks and activity centers in Bohuslän. In these places everyone can have fun, but perhaps most of all for the children. There is so much to discover and do in this beautiful part of Sweden, and I have selected some of my favorites that I think both you and your children will love.

Liseberg amusement park.
In Gothenburg.
Liseberg is Sweden's largest amusement park and is located in the municipality of Gothenburg. Here you can ride everything from breathtaking roller coasters to quiet carousels. You can also watch shows, play games, eat well and much more. Liseberg has something for all tastes and ages.

Ark of the Nordics.
About 2 miles from Smögen
Nordens Ark is a zoo and an activity center located in Sotenäs municipality. Here you can see endangered animals from all over the world, such as snow leopards, amur tigers and wolves. You can also hike in the beautiful nature, play on the playground, pet animals on the farm and learn more about nature conservation.

Playland for children, in Kungälv
If you want a day filled with play and laughter, Barnens lekstad in Kungälv is a perfect choice. Here there is something for all ages, from bouncy castles and slides to climbing walls and ball seas. There is also a cozy café where you can have a coffee or a light lunch. The children's play city is open all year round, so it doesn't matter whether it's sunny or rainy outside. It's just a matter of bringing the joy and energy in!

Stella's Playland,
Uddevalla
Another playland that I can warmly recommend is Stella's playland in Uddevalla. It is a large and modern playland that has everything you could want for a fun day. Here there is, among other things, a volcano, an obstacle course, a trampoline park, a haunted room and a disco. There is also a separate area for the smallest children, where they can play safely and securely. Stella's playland also has a nice cafe with a view of the entire playland, where you can enjoy good food and drinks.

Daft Island
at Daftö Resort, Strömstad
If you want to combine play with nature and adventure, then Daftöland at Daftö Resort in Strömstad is a perfect place to visit. Daftöland is a theme park inspired by pirates and treasure, and here there are plenty of exciting attractions for the whole family. You can go on a boat trip through the pirate cave, test your balance on the swinging bridge, climb the lookout tower or try shooting cannons. There is also a miniature golf course, a playground, an animal enclosure and a pirate museum. Daftöland is open from May to September, and you can also stay at Daftö Resort, which has cozy cabins, campsites and restaurants.

Emmaus Farm, Uddevalla
If you want to get close to animals and nature, Emaus Lantgård in Uddevalla is a wonderful place to visit. Emaus Lantgård is an organic farm that has many different animals that you can pet and feed, for example goats, sheep, horses, rabbits, pigs and chickens. You can also take a horse and carriage ride, pick apples in the orchard or buy organic products in the farm shop. Emaus Lantgård also has a café where you can taste home-baked cakes and buns.

Havsten high-altitude track, Uddevalla
If you want to challenge yourself and get an adrenaline rush, the Havsten high-altitude track in Uddevalla is an exciting alternative. Havsten high altitude course is an adventure park that is beautifully located by the sea, and here there are four different courses with different levels of difficulty. You can climb among the treetops, swing in vines, balance on logs or ride a zipline over the water. Havsten high-altitude track also has a café where you can relax after your adventure.

House of the sea. Light wedge
If you want to experience the fantastic life below the surface, Havets hus in Lysekil is a must visit. The House of the Sea is an aquarium that showcases the rich and varied animal life of the sea, and here there are over 100 different species to see. You can see everything from colorful fish and coral to sharks, rays, octopuses and starfish. You can also pet a sea urchin, feed a crab or join a guided tour. Havets hus also has a café with a view of the sea, where you can end your visit with something good to eat or drink.
