Ocean bus – an amphibious bus traveling on both land and water

Thought I'd share my fantastic experience with Ocean Bus in Gothenburg. It is a bus that can drive both on land and in water, and will take you on a guided tour through the city and the port. Doesn't that sound exciting?

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical when I booked the tickets. I thought it would be a boring and expensive tourist trap with no added value. But I was so wrong! Right from the start I was pleasantly surprised by the guide, who was super funny and knowledgeable. He told me lots of interesting and funny things about Gothenburg's history, culture and sights, and made me laugh out loud several times. He had such wonderful energy and joy that rubbed off on everyone on board.

The experience is suitable for all ages

I brought with me some of my friends, which consist of both adults and teenagers. You know how hard it can be to find something that suits all ages, but Ocean Bus was a hit! The teenagers thought it was great fun riding around in a bus that suddenly became a boat, and that drove into the water with a big splash. They were completely fascinated by how the bus could be transformed into a floating vehicle, and how the guide, with his captain, could handle both the steering wheel and the rudder. They also listened attentively to the guide's stories, which were adapted to both children and adults.

After the tour we were hungry and decided to have lunch at La Piccola Gondola at the Sales Hall. It is a cozy Italian restaurant that serves good food at good prices. We ordered pizza, pasta and salad, and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. It was a perfect end to a wonderful day in Gothenburg!
