SHOPPING BOHUSLÄN
Bohuslän is a fantastic landscape with beautiful nature, exciting history. But. there are also days when you want to go to shops and buy various things. We have collected several of the most popular shopping areas in Bohuslän, but also many of the shopping centers that offer lots of shopping opportunities. Whether you are looking for unique crafts, local delicacies or trendy clothes, there is something for all tastes in Bohuslän. Here are the tips for both small cozy areas and larger shopping centers.

Southern Bohuslän
- In Gothenburg there is the district HAGA. Haga is an old part of the city with a pedestrian street with many small specialty shops. Even though it is smaller, you can compare it to Old Town in Stockholm.
- In Gothenburg you can also visit Market Hall. It is a food and vegetable market that has been around for many years. Specialty shops of various kinds.
- The fishing village in Gothenburg is well known. You should go there to buy fresh fish. BUT; right now, in the years 2022-2023, it is closed, when the over a hundred-year-old building is being renovated.
- Bäckebol shopping center. Located in the northern parts of Gothenburg's outskirts. But, it is easy to get there, as it is located on the E6. IKEA and other big chains are there.
- Backplane in Gothenburg is located at Hisingen.
- Frölunda Torg. Located in the Frölunda district.
- Högsbo-Sisjön. It is a large area that is divided on both sides of the main trail. Several large store chains are represented.
- Inside Central Gothenburg lies the famous Nordstan. It is here that there is probably the most pulse in the entire city. It is a meeting point for many and many people. Brunnsparken, which is outside, is a hub for public transport. The central station with trains and buses is in this area. As well as many shops, of course.
- All in Partille: Large shopping center with many shops.
- Kongahälla Center. King River
- Stenungsund Square: A modern shopping center located in Stenungsund, a city known for its chemical industry. Here you can shop in over 60 stores, including Cubus, Gina Tricot, MQ, Hemtex and Apoteket. You can also eat at one of the several restaurants or cafes, which have everything from pasta and salad to sandwiches and pastries.
Northern Bohuslän
- Torp Köpcenter. One of Sweden's largest shopping centers, located just outside Uddevalla. Here you can shop in over 100 stores, including H&M, Zara, KappAhl, Lindex, Stadium, Clas Ohlson and IKEA. You can also eat in one of the many restaurants or cafes, which offer everything from pizza and sushi to hamburgers and salad.
- Tanum Köpcenter, Located along the E6an, in the municipality of Tanum.
- Nordby shopping center, A popular shopping center located right on the border with Norway, near Strömstad. Here you can shop at low prices in over 100 stores, including Gant, Kicks, Lekia, Lager 157 and Systembolaget. You can also take a break at one of the many eateries or coffee shops, which have everything from Thai food and kebabs to ice cream and waffles.
- THE SPORTS SHOP in Grebbestad. Here you will find the Nordics' largest sports store, on 8,000 square meters. Visit the store to buy affordable clothes, with quality. If you then continue the journey on the main road, 2 km after you pass the Sportshop, you will come to Grebbestad. It is a nice community that has a lot to offer. - New wave outlet In Dingle. Here you will find well-known brands at good prices.
