Lobster fishing is regulated by laws and regulations aimed at preserving the lobster population and promoting sustainable fishing. Lobster fishing starts on the first Monday after September 20 at 07:00 and continues until April 30 at 17:00. The lobster must be at least 10 centimeters long from the front edge of the eye to the back edge of the tail, and females with rum or fry may not be picked up.
