Liseberg delivers all seasons

Gothenburg is fortunate to have the Liseberg amusement park as an attractive activity for all visitors. This amusement park has grown bigger and bigger every year. It is today an area that includes all kinds of activities. Of course all the rides and very nice park to walk in. But, there are also many restaurants that offer different types of food. Some of them are open all year round. Liseberg's Christmas table is very popular among other things.

Liseberg has also attached a theatre, concert hall and is in the process of building a brand new hotel with lots of activities, all year round. This is a great place to visit for all ages. There is something for everyone.

Liseberg summer

Of course, it is in the summer that Liseberg blooms the most. Then it is full of people almost every day. As I said, Liseberg offers a large park with many rides, for all ages. But, there is also a packed program of performances every year, with famous artists. Read more about it at Liseberg.se. The TV program "Lotta på Liseberg" is broadcast from Liseberg of course. We usually get on our bikes sometimes to just "drop in" on the Mondays that the program is on. Sometimes we stay for the entire program. But, most of the time we just stroll around the park for a while too. Maybe an ice cream sometimes. That's what's so great about the season pass. Because we don't have to plan so much and can be spontaneous.

We have also booked seats for Lotta at Liseberg. It is an experience in itself, which I really recommend. But, be there in good time, because the tickets disappear quickly.

Liseberg autumn

Liseberg is also open for a period in the autumn. It is during the period around Halloween. Then the whole park is rebuilt into an exciting and sometimes stretching sensation. There are zombies and strange people who appear in the most unexpected cities. All actors of course. But, the park is also very nicely decorated with lots, I mean lots of pumpkins. It's autumn colors and a really nice feeling to wander around in. It feels enriching in the autumn evening, which can so often be a bit dark, empty and cold. But, a visit to Liseberg really warms the soul.

Liseberg winter

Liseberg is also open in December with a Christmas theme. A very popular and well-attended time for Liseberg.

Just about a week after Halloween is over, Liseberg opens again. Then the park has another new theme. Christmas celebration. The whole park is covered in snow and lots of Christmas themes.

Liseberg spring

Lisebergsparken also partially opens for a while in the spring. Then, all market traders can set up their stalls to sell their handicrafts etc. There are many sales of flowers, plants and outdoor interior such as barbecues and furniture. We have been there a few times and strolled around without any particular goal. But, it has become that you come home with a barbecue accessory under your arm in any case, because the feelings of spring start something in the body. Anticipation for the coming summer is somehow awakened.

Liseberg is a fantastic place. I am so happy that it exists. We buy an annual pass every year. That way we can spontaneously come and go as we please in all seasons. Sometimes it is music and concerts that are in focus. Sometimes it is just a stroll in the park or food & drink that looms. One day a year we can also have our “ride the carousels day”, which I follow along with, but which my wife loves.
